GTA 6 Hacked by 18 Year old boy, Privacy of large gaming community is in danger!

A court has heard that the video game of  Rockstars Games was hacked by a teenage hacker who used an Amazon Fire Stick and a hotel TV to get access to the game’s trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6. Arion Kurtaj, 18 years old, had his laptop seized because he was part of the cybergang Lapsus$, but he was under police protection at a Travelodge hotel when he managed to receive 90 unreleased GTA 6 footage and videos from Rockstar Games. This shows that Privacy and security of large gaming community is in danger and many loopholes is found in the system.

He was given an indefinite hospital term on Thursday for hacking Rockstar Games and Uber as well as the fintech company Revolut. Scenes from the newest, upcoming GTA 6 installment were shown to the jurors at London’s Southwark Crown Court. Kurtaj had hacked and uploaded the videos to an internet gaming community.

-Using an Amazon Fire Stick, a teenage hacker by the name of Arion Kurtaj broke into Rockstar Games and posted over 90 GTA 6 early development footage online.

-Kurtaj was apprehended in an English hotel room, where he launched the attack using the hotel’s Amazon Fire Stick to get online.

-Kurtaj, along with an anonymous 17-year-old, belong to the online group Lapsus$, which has a reputation for taking aim at large internet businesses. Because of all the excitement around GTA 6, Rockstar Games might find it difficult to keep the development of the game under wraps.
